Football life is set to change for Bardon Hill FC as Newcastle United boss Alan Pardew, Budweiser and The FA announced on Thursday November 29th that the Leicestershire Club is one of 8 regional winners of a £50,000 grant as part of the Budweiser Club Futures Programme.
The grant will help Bardon Hill fund the building of a new fuction room, whilst providing changing facilities for the junior teams at the club.
As well as a new catering facility the building will also benefit the pupils of a local college.
Bardon Hill are now in with a game changing chance of winning an additional £100,000 Super Grant to top up their funds to a mighty £150,000 following a vote by football fans on Facebook.
The voting will be a stright shoot out between the 8 regional winners and the club with the most votes will scoop the prize. The voting opens on Monday January 28th. 2013 on the Budweiser UK and FA Cup facebook pages.
