Just two matches to report.
WEST BRIDGFORD joined Kimberley Miners Welfare, Barrow Town, Belper United, Clifton All Whites, Rainworth Miners Welfare and Sherwood Colliery in the Quarter Finals of the Jenkins & Jenkins Sponsored League Cup with a 5-1 win over BORROWASH VICTORIA. This game was transferred to West Bridgford and the highlight was three goals in two minutes. John Whitehurst put Bridgford in front on ten minutes and Joshua Rae added to that good start with a second goal on 25. The Vics, who have won their last two league games, hit back with a Jordan Sanders goal five minutes before the break, but the game was made safe by the home side who scored further goals through Jack Oldham on 70 minutes, Ben Clark on 71 and Oldham again on 72.
The other game was a league encounter which saw TEVERSAL improve their league points with a 4-0 win at KIMBERLEY MINERS WELFARE. But the result did not alter either teams’ positions in the table. Aaron Pride started the scoring for Tevie on eleven minutes and Dan Fullwood added a second midway through the first half. Ryan Damms and a second from Fullwood in the second half completed the scoring THE COUNTIES
