NEWARK FLOWSERVE cut Selston’s lead at the top of the table to just one point with their 4-0 win at BORROWASH VICTORIA and the other chasing pack also failed to take advantage on an afternoon of poor results for the top teams. Sam Agar’s brace for Flowserve took him up to 26 goals for the season and the League’s leading goalscorer. He struck both of his team’s first half goals, with
Stephen Kirkham and Daryl Price adding the other two in the second half.

SELSTON, meanwhile, were held at home by a GRAHAM STREET PRIMS side which was extending an unbeaten run to three games. Matt Harris put visiting Prims ahead on 13 minutes and Rhys Dolan levelled eleven minutes later to complete the scoring for the afternoon.

Third place RADFORD were also held to a draw at CLIFTON ALL WHITES where the teams shared six goals. Aaron Large put the Whites on course for a good start with a brace of goals inside the first twenty minutes. Ravern Antonio Jackson pulled one back just before the half hour and then parity was restored four minutes before the break when Ryan Smith scored. Radford took the lead for the first time in the game ten minutes into the second half when Simon Hore scored from the penalty spot. But Clifton ensured a share of the spoils on 70 minutes when Daryll Thomas levelled things up again from the game’s second penalty decision.

SHERWOOD COLLIERY suffered a blow when they were beaten by KIMBERLEY MINERS WELFARE 2-0 at the Stag Ground. Jordan Alls put the home side into the lead in the last minute of the first half, and the points were made safe thanks to Johnathan Jebbison’s goal twelve minutes from the end. It cost the Debdale outfit a place in the top four as they were overtaken by BARROW TOWN who had
a 2-0 victory on the road at CLIPSTONE. Zak Ginvert gave the Riversiders the perfect start with a goal after just six minutes, and Kadeem Price made sure of the victory with a second goal on 69.

Perhaps the most thrilling game of the afternoon took place at Regatta Way as WEST BRIDGFORD secured the points with a 4-3 win over RAINWORTH MINERS WELFARE. Ethan Wiestort struck first for the visitors with a goal in the 14th minute, but the lead quickly changed hands as Jack Oldham and Tim Hopkinson scored for West Bridgford. Kurtis Bamford levelled things up again 15 minutes from the end but a flurry of goals in the last five minutes gave the home side victory. Ryan Whitehurst after 85 minutes and John Whitehurst three minutes later seemed to have confirmed a home victory, but Aiden Harris got one back at the death to make it a thrilling finish.

Jack Jepson got both the goals for GEDLING MINERS WELFARE as they were victorious at TEVERSAL. His first came on 25 minutes, his second in stoppage time at the end of the game.

Laurence Constable and Ryan Baker both hit two goals as BELPER UNITED won 5-0 at doomed ARNOLD TOWN. Adam Dring got their other goal.

Benn Minshull on 34 minutes and Liam Donaghy on 70 got the goals which saw ASHBY IVANHOE defeat EASTWOOD COMMUNITY 2-0.

Jamie Sleigh took his personal tally for the season to 24 with HEANOR TOWN’s winner in the 72nd minute at INGLES.
